Our Employers see their involvement in our programs as a positive social investment in the community. For young people it showcases the career possibilities right here in their own backyard without having to go abroad. Coordination, mentoring and monitoring of school based apprenticeships and traineeships
We understand that schools are extremely busy with the general pressures of educating our young people and that finding the time to coordinate and monitor their students through School Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships. Our organisation can act on the school behalf when students are commencing SATS. We will attend the signup, negotiate working arrangement that impact school timetables and ensure the RTO (registered training organisation) develops training plans and visits the students on a regular basis. We communicate with the student, school and employer every 8 weeks to ensure everything is continuing along smoothly to ensure the student complete successfully whilst also accumulating points onto their QCE (Queensland certificate of education)
Delivery of government funded training programs
SITE works with the community to identify gaps in education and training for young people to enhance the opportunities for employment or further training. Our active participation and connections with industry and education focused committees allow us to all work collaboratively to deliver employment and training services to the region.
